Superannuated Period (SP):
In the distant annals of time, our world existed as a singular, undivided entity, whole and unblemished. During this era, the foundations of existence were laid, and the seeds of creation were sown, setting the stage for the epochs that would follow.
Aeon of Perdition (AP):
The Aeon of Perdition heralded a cataclysmic conflict among the gods themselves, a war that ravaged the prime material plane and plunged our world into the depths of despair. This era culminated in the Evenfall, a catastrophic event that reshaped the very fabric of reality and left indelible scars upon the cosmos.
Peripatetic Mass (PM):
Following the tumultuous upheaval of the Aeon of Perdition, the cosmos descended into a state of ever-shifting volatility. Pockets of arcane potential coalesced within what we believe to have once been the Astral Sea, giving rise to myriad planes of existence that ebbed and flowed like tides in the cosmic ocean.
The Respite of Isolation (RI):
Amidst the chaos of the Peripatetic Mass, a respite of isolation dawned upon the shattered remnants of existence. The demiplane structure we all now live in stabilized, survivors emerged from the wreckage, and the cosmic order began to take shape once more. Yet, this era was marked by stark divisions, as only those planes capable of sustaining themselves endured, while countless others succumbed to ruin.
Epoch Athalium (EA):
In the present epoch, the Athalial Explorer’s League stands at the forefront of cosmic exploration and discovery. With the development of inter-cluster aetheric travel, we have embarked upon a colonial expansion that seeks to bridge the vast cosmos and connect all known planes of existence. It is within this era that we find ourselves, poised on the precipice of unparalleled exploration and enlightenment.
